Taylor Swift has kept quiet on her rumored relationship with DJ Calvin Harris despite photos (especially those matching outfit ones) of the two surfacing every now and then. While the 1989 singer and the Motion producer haven't confirmed the news, Swift's friend, tourmate and collaborator Ed Sheeran says he'd be okay with the relationship.
When asked in an interview with iHeart Radio's ZM station if he'd give Swift his stamp of approval on Harris, he said: "He's cool. He's really a nice guy. A really, really nice guy. I'd give the seal of approval. There are certain people that are just nice people in the industry. I met him probably like a year ago, maybe a year and a half. Good guy...really, really good guy."
Despite all of the evidence that Swift is dating Harris, she has been adamant for some time now that she is happy to be single and not dating.
"It meant a lot to me to set the record straight-that I do not need some guy around in order to get inspiration, in order to make a great record, in order to live my life, in order to feel okay about myself," she told Esquire last year.
Even earlier this year, she lamented that she might be single forever.
"Let's be honest. No one's going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it," she told The Telegraph in February.
Interestingly, Harris told Capital Breakfast last month that he wouldn't "swipe right" for Swift on Tinder.
"She's just the opposite of my type," he said. "She looks lovely, she's the opposite of my type. So I would just go left."
Of course, that was before he was spotted all over the place with her, so maybe he realized he was wrong about her not being his type once he met her.
