Kanye West got his start as a producer, making beats for the likes of Ludacris, Lil Kim and most notably, Jay Z. On Kanye's College Dropout track, "Spaceship," he notes that he made five beats a day for three months to hone his craft as a producer. The "All Day" rapper has made it big time as an artist, a producer and most notably as a rapper, but he is now joining an elite group of beatsmiths called The Hitmen who helped craft countless single as a part of Diddy's Bad Boy Records in the 1990s and early 2000s. Diddy revealed the news on his Instagram.

Diddy, who was one of the 11 listed producers on "All Day," has the vision and clout to get The Hitmen back together with Kanye as a member to revive the group that released 21 straight platinum or gold records during the Bad Boy Records run as noted by Hot New Hip Hop. In addition to Diddy, the original members returning are Chucky Thompson, Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, Steven "Stevie J" Jordan, Mario Winans and Nashiem Myrick. With Kanye being added to that group of "real producers" there's going to be some special music coming from their camp.

It is expected that they will be working on Diddy's upcoming album, MMM (Making Money Mitch), his first since 2010.
