Kanye West may be facing charges for his instinctive act of protecting his family. TMZ reports that West is being considered a felony suspect for attempted robbery attacking a paparazzo for his camera in LAX airport on Friday, July 19th. The photographer tried to get a clear shot of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's new bundle of joy, North West.  Both the Robbery Honmicide Unit and local cops are proceeding with the charges and currently working on the paperwork.

When it comes to the relationship of paparazzi and celebrities, there seems to be a major give and take of crossing the line professionally. Many celebrities including recently Halle Berry are fighting the media in order to protect the privacy rights of their children.

Berry testified in June 2013 before California lawmakers to support a law that would protect the rights of children and limit papparzzi's ability to photograph children. She has experienced several occasions in which her daughter has become the center of attention, against both Berry's and her child's wishes.

In an ABCNews report, Halle Berry stated:

"My daughter doesn't want to go to school because she knows 'the men' are watching for her," the "Monster's Ball" actress told the Assembly Committee on Public Safety at the California state Capitol in Sacramento. "They jump out of the bushes and from behind cars and who knows where else, besieging these children just to get a photo."

She added: "I have to yell 'She's a child. Leave my child alone. Leave my child alone.' We get into the car, and my daughter is now sobbing, and she says to me, 'Are they going to kill us? Are they going to kill us?'"

With Kanye West's infamous behavior and Kim Kardashian's celebrity status, this will surely not be the only time that the couple will feel the need to protect their baby, North West from the paparrazi.

Do you think that Kanye should have responded differently?
