A settlement involving Justin Bieber and a photographer named Jeffrey Binion over an incident that took place in South Florida has been reached.

According to Billboard, Binion's attorney, Mark DiCowden, confirmed that the settlement had been reached yesterday, April 24. Although DiCowden released the news of the confirmation, the details of the agreement are confidential.

In a CBS Miami report in 2013, Binion claimed he was roughed up by one of the singer's bodyguards while taking pictures of Bieber outside of a recording studio. He reportedly sued Bieber.*

Another photographer who also claimed to be assaulted that night revealed, "They started threatening us, oh we gonna kill you, you gonna get roughed up you in the hood man you don't know what we could do to you we got guns," said a photographer who did not want their identity released, according to CBS Miami. "Justin Bieber ordered one of the security guards to go and break my camera. He chased me down the street, he grabbed me really rough by the neck to stop me and then he snatched my camera."

Regarding Binion's specific lawsuit, CBS Miami reported that the lawsuit stated that Bieber "...directed [Hugo] Hesny and three other bodyguards to confront [Binion] and to forcibly take the memory card from [his] camera."

Additionally, CBS Miami reported that the complaint said Binion was thrown against a wall and was choked and threatened with a gun.

Bieber has certainly had a career of public ups and downs. The 21-year-old revealed in an interview with Men's Health how growing up in the public eye was not easy.

"[It's] almost like I grew up for the public but I didn't necessarily grow up," Bieber told Mens Health. "There were things I had to do, as far as the way I had to make relationships, and conversation, but as far as actually growing up, there were a lot of things I missed out on."
