Ed Sheeran's latest album x isn't even one year old, but it seems as though he already has a new release up his shoulder. Today (May 4), the "Photograph" singer announced that he will be releasing a project entitled 5 on Tuesday, May 12.

5, which Sheeran initially (and fittingly) teased as a May 5 release, has been pushed back one week and given some numerical artwork. In a post on his Instagram with the new release date, Sheeran revealed that the album artwork features a bronze number 5 surrounded by some gorgeous brown and orange designs.

Check out the album artwork below:

What exact release 5 will be is unconfirmed. However, fans in Instagram comments claim that the new LP will be a re-release of the five EPs (You Need Me, Loose Change, Songs I Wrote with Amy, Live at the Bedford and No. 5 Collaborations Project) that Sheeran self-released betweet 2009 and 2011 in hope of getting signed by a major label.

His debut album + was released in September 2011.
