Don't have (at least) $55-or the means to travel to Las Vegas-to see Elton John's "Million Dollar Piano" performance residency at Caesar's Palaces? No worries. Soon you'll be able to see the Rocket Man performing "live" for much less. A film of the show, also titled The Million Dollar Piano, will play at 1,700 theaters around the world

The pianist/pop star began "Piano," his second Las Vegas residency in 2011. The series was acclaimed by critics for featuring a healthy supply of John's hits as well as smattering of fan favorite B-sides. There are no details yet as to what songs will be featured in the film, which will air at 500 American theaters.

The announcement is far from the biggest news for John this year. He'll be going back on tour on February 1 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Even bigger news comes with the anniversary of perhaps John's most revered album: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. The classic rock album technically celebrated its 40th anniversary during 2013, but a special edition of the record will be released on March 25. Strictly in terms of music, the album will be available as a CD or vinyl record (yes collectors, a limited edition yellow vinyl version will be available). All the formats will include a nine track tribute album, featuring John's songs as covered by performers across a number of genres, including Fall Out Boy, Miguel (feat. Wale), The Zac Brown Band, and Ed Sheeran.

For those unsatisfied with those offerings, a deluxe package including a DVD of the film Elton John and Bernie Taupin Say Goodbye to Norma Jean and Other Things (circa 1973) and a hardback book about Goodbye Yellow Brick Road will be available.
