Amber Marchese might be one of the few Bravolebrities that has a real story to share. She came to The Real Housewives of New Jersey last season as not only a busy mom, but also a breast cancer survivor. She was very open about her experience and used the show also as a platform to help educate women about the illness. Unfortunately, in the last several weeks, it was confirmed that the cancer has returned and Marchese is once again battling for her life. She is really rooted in her family as well as her strong religious convictions and seems to only be speaking from a place of strength.

On Thursday Marchese posted a photo of herself in the gym flexing on her official Facebook, with the caption "This is a day before my surgery. I took it because I am going to crush cancer with my bicep and of course with my strong will and faith in God. "I'm a survivor, nothing is going to bring me down". Mark my words, I will be back into the gym a week from now. #iamasoldierofGod #warriorqueen #iwillcrushyoucancer #faith #miracles #rhonj #myheartisfulloflove #ifearnothingwithgod"

She also confirmed yesterday that she is "recovering beautifully" from the surgery that initially scared her so much. Earlier this month at the NBC upfronts, it was confirmed that none of the ladies from RHONJ were present, because the show isn't on Bravo's upcoming schedule. While so much attention has been given to the fact that Teresa Giudice is in prison and how that may affect filming, perhaps Marchese's battle has also prompted the network to keep the show on a hiatus.

Marchese is bound and determined to beat cancer for a second time. Do you hope that she chooses to return to reality television to share this part of her journey? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
