It looks like sobriety isn't at the top of Kim Richards bucket list just yet. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star raised eyebrows back in April when she was popped for a DUI and charged with several other things after kicking her arresting officer. She spent the most recent season of RHOBH insisting that she was sober only to eventually concede that she had not been. Richards had been in rehab for weeks when she was granted a pass to attend her daughter's wedding in Mexico. Various news outlets are now reporting that she is currently AWOL after falling off the wagon hard at the wedding.
According to an exclusive report, "Multiple sources tell TMZ ... Kim was clearly under the influence of something, although no one seems to know what. Our sources say whatever Kim took or drank, she did so in private, but when she interacted with people at the wedding she was "a mess." We're told Kim was saying horribly nasty things to her daughter, Brooke, right after the wedding. We're told Kim was cursing out the groom's family and was generally belligerent. The bride has vowed she won't speak with her mom again. As for the sober coach ... we're told she couldn't control Kim and left Mexico immediately after the wedding." says an insider.
Richards was supposed to return to the rehab facility on Monday but apparently never showed up. She was basically trusted to be able to travel with a sober coach and successfully return to treatment in one piece. The fact that her coach quit gives us an idea of just how badly Richards behaved. Fans of RHOBH have seen her while under the influence and Richards becomes a pretty volatile person to deal with. It's not too surprising to hear that anyone who didn't have to put up with her got themselves out of there.
