We already knew that Major Lazer had ambitious plans for 2015, releasing not one but two albums during the calendar year. Now that vision is starting to take shape with their new album Peace Is The Mission, featuring a laundry list of stars like Ellie Goulding Pusha T, 2 Chainz and DJ Snake getting its release in a only a few days on Monday, June 1. Now according to Walshy Fire, who gave an interview with Australian publication In The Mix, there is another album on the way and it has been given a name: Music Is The Weapon.

The timeline is still flexible as to when they will release it. It could be at the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016, but either way another album is on the way. They just need to narrow down the tracklist to their favorite tracks.

"For sure, we're gonna release another album," Walshy tells In The Mix. "We already have a name for it, it's called Music is the Weapon, and it's gonna come out later this year or early next year for sure. It'll have a few more club songs, a few more festival songs, but it'll be in the same spectrum, just super-well-written songs with really great production that the entire world can understand."

There are several factors that would go into the release of this album. They do a show in Jamaica every year in December as a place to test out all of their new music and it would be tough to use that platform if they have already released their new album. Also if Peace Is The Mission manages to maintain momentum through the end of the year, like "Lean On" has done, they may keep Music is the Weapon for 2016.
