Michael Jackson's Neverland estate is on the market for $100 million, reeling in an abundance of prospective buyers. If the rumors of the Prince of Pop haunting the grounds are true, will the price go up for the brave or go down for the easily spooked?

One of the ranch workers, Marie Andre, details that many staff members have seen Jackson's spirit walking the 2,700-acre California estate, notes the Mirror. "Michael is there, his presence, his moves and his breath. Many of the workers around the property have seen him, and they talk about him living there. It does spook many of them out," she said.

The "Thriller" singer originally purchased the property in 1987 for $19.5 million, remodeling it to eventually become Neverland, also known as a place in Peter Pan where children don't age. Major renovations included sprucing up the grounds and six bedroom mansion as well as building a carnival, a pair of lakes, and a 50-seat movie theater. Quickly, Chimpanzee's, elephants and other exotic animals called Neverland home, but after the "Dirty Diana" singer parted ways with his beloved estate, the personal zoo and miniature amusement park ceased to exist. The front entrance was modeled after Disney World's Magic Kingdom and like the park, has a working steam train.

"Local people say that Jackson's spirit has been haunting his estate and favourite hangouts since he died," a Californian estate agent told the Daily Star, reports Financial Express. "Investors and visitors considered buying the property are warned that workers on the ranch have claimed the King of Pop haunts the premises."

In 2014, three of four photographers found their way inside the then-abandoned grounds, snapped pictures and refuted the ghost rumors by stating they didn't feel or see anything peculiar.
