Can you believe that Princess Charlotte is already six weeks old? Of course, in the days since her birth we have heard precious little about how Kate Middleton, Prince William and little Prince George have adjusted to the new royal arrival. Just as when George was born nearly two years ago, the family has been pretty private while adjusting to its new normal. Of course the media wants any info available on Charlotte and thankfully, her doting grandfather, Prince Charles has offered up a bit of information.

According to a report by USA Today, "The Prince of Wales, proud grandfather to 6-week-old Princess Charlotte, tends to get gooey about her. So no surprise he was spilling a tidbit to a group WWII vets Wednesday about her sleeping habits. 'We were talking about grandchildren, he was saying Princess Charlotte does sleep through the night and it was much easier on mum than Prince George,'" explains an insider.

Middleton has made it very clear that her children are her first priority and while she does have hired help, she chooses to be an extremely hands-on mother. She also seems the type to enforce a regular schedule for her kids. That said, she would have been working to get baby Charlotte onto a solid sleep schedule probably from the first night that she arrived home from the hospital.

As for seeing more of the newest member of the Royal Family, those sightings will likely be few and far between. In the last two years we have rarely caught a glimpse of Prince George, in part because Middleton and William have agreed to let their kids have as normal an upbringing as possible. That said, are you surprised that Prince Charles is allowed to give out any info at all? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
