Kanye West's new album SWISH seemingly has had a long road to its release, but if a new profile in The Guardian is to be believed, Mr. Kim Kardashian's Yeezus follow-up now has a tentative release date. Ahead of his controversial headlining set at Glastonbury later this week, the "All Day" rapper may have revealed when his album will hit store shelves.

Teased as everything from a surprise release to something highly calculated, SWISH now may be arriving in the fall. Tucked at the bottom of The Guardian's interview with West, the English newpaper had this to say: "Kanye's seventh album, originally titled So Help Me God and later changed to SWISH, is to be released this autumn."

There's no word on how The Guardian got its SWISH release date scoop or if the autumn timeline is confirmed, but the seasonal news is the first news fans of West's have heard about the rapper's seventh studio album in some time.

At the top of 2015, it seemed like SWISH (then titled So Help Me God) was on the way soon as West gained plenty of momentum. He started off the new year by dropping his ode to mother Donda West "Only One" on New Year's Day. In the following months, West also rolled out singles "Wolves," "FourFiveSeconds" and "All Day." The rapper also made a string of high profile television appearances, including gigs on SNL, the Billboard Music Awards and the BRITs.

However, since May, little has been heard from West on the music front as the rapper focuses on fashion design and building his family with Kardashian.

SWISH will be West's seventh studio album in total and his first release since Yeezus dropped in summer 2013.
