While Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner confirmed their split a little over a week ago, they continue to be spotted together. First the family vacationed in the Bahamas and now they are all staying in Atlanta, GA for the rest of the summer while Garner works on her latest film, "Miracles From Heaven." We're also starting to learn a bit more about what led to the split and it sounds like an infidelity on Affleck's part played a major role in destroying his marriage to Garner.
According to an exclusive report by Us Weekly, "one pal claims, in the past year, Garner told her friends that Affleck had 'admitted to cheating' with an attractive love interest. A devastated Garner kicked the two-time Oscar winner out of their $17.5 million home in L.A.'s Pacific Palisades, "but eventually decided to forgive him." While Garner may have forgiven her husband of ten years, the trust was broken and that trust was vital because of the amount of time that they spent apart due to work commitments.
Ironically, in the last few weeks Garner has looked like she is doing pretty well, all things considered, and it has been Affleck who appears to be crushed. He may be in Atlanta with her now, but Affleck is said to be staying in the guest house on the same property as Garner so that he can watch the kids while she works.
At least for now, this split really does seem to be about as civil as possible. Do you think that there is any chance that Garner and Affleck will find a way to reconnect and call off the divorce?
