Jay Z and Beyonce might just be adding another win to their long list of accomplishments. The couple was nominated for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Special Class Program for their "On the Run" Tour special that aired on HBO.

Jay Z and Beyonce teamed up with HBO to release a television special called On The Run, which highlighted their highly anticipated and largely successful "On The Run" tour. Jay Z and Beyonce easily sell out arenas individually, but when they decided to combine their talents for a joint tour last summer, they upped the ante. According to Billboard, the tour made more than $100 million in sales with attendance topping 850,000. Omar Al Joulani, VP of North American touring for the concert's promoter company, Live Nation, confirmed the success of the tour. He stated, "Everybody's winning...These shows sold tremendously well at the end...It was a very successful tour and we're pleased to have that big gross number at the end."

This is not the music power couple's first time getting nominated at the Emmys either. Beyonce was nominated for her halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII while Jay Z has actually already snagged himself a Sports Emmy back in 2011 for Outstanding Music Composition/Direction/Lyrics for his Super Bowl XLIV performance of his hit "Run this Town."

Along with Jay Z and Beyonce, a couple other musicians were also nominated this year. Katy Perry got nominated in the category of Outstanding Special Class Short Format Live Action Entertainment Program for her Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show performance. Queen Latifah was nominated in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or a Movie for her role in the movie Bessie. And Lady Gaga received a nomination in the category of Outstanding Variety Special for Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek LIVE!

The 67th Emmy Awards will air live on September 20. Will you be watching?
