For the first time, Calvin Harris is opening up about his relationship with Taylor Swift. The normally private EDM superstar dished on the constant swell of rumors surrounding himself and his "Bad Blood" girlfriend and what it's actually like being with one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
In an interview with KISS FM UK (via Just Jared), Harris admitted that it's kind of crazy to be dating Swift, even though things are going "fantastic." "It's interesting, because obviously there's different things written about it every day and even if we don't do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up," he said.
And while Swift is no stranger to making headlines with her relationships (after dating everyone from Joe Jonas to Harry Styles to Jake Gyllenhaal), Harris is slightly less used to the tabloid fodder, and he finds it rather bizarre. He also shot down a slew of rumors about their home life from marriage to moving in together to slightly stranger stories.
"It does get more and more ridiculous, from me apparently being allergic to cats or Taylor and I are moving in together or we're getting married next week," he said about all of the rumors. "It's a lot but you've just got to take it how it is which is that it's a news story that people read but it's just not real life."
That real life includes dates that don't make the tabloids. Despite being photographed most days, Harris revealed that sometimes he and Swift are able to go on dates incognito. "There's a whole bunch of times where we've been hanging out and nobody's clocked it," he said. "It's not like every single time we go out, we get a photograph taken of us."
Harris and Swift began dating this spring.
