It was the bomb heard throughout the world: The kingpin of New York radio Hot 97's DJ Funk Flex, alleged someone from the OVO camp itself had leaked a reference track given to Drake of his hit song "10 Bands," off If You're Reading This Its Too Late. According to Flex Flex, it is another rapper on the reference track giving their version of Drake's hit song. Meet Quentin Miller, the man Meek Mill suggested has been behind some of Drake's recent string of hits.

Although we're not exactly sure when the track was recorded, Flex claims that an insider told hold him Miller receives a $5,000 stipend per month for his contribution. Naturally shock and disbelief washed over radio listeners as Flex spun Miller's version of the hit track, over and over again.

Now keep in mind Miller does actually have credits for four tracks on the recent project, so it's not like this fact was hidden in entirety.
However, since the art of hip-hop emerged, artists and true lyricists have always prided themselves on what they refer to as their "pen game," which makes it no surprise that when it is determined that you don't write all your lyrics, it could definitely be a rapper's undoing.
Anyone fluent in the hip-hop movement knows this is a huge faux pas. Of course rappers are typically known to have a number of collaborators on a track. For example, a contributor may provide a hook, a melody but nowhere is it mentioned acceptable to receive a full on verse.
Other artists like OG Maco have shared their opinion on the matter as well.
We gonna get to the bottom of this.... Incase we forgot... Big, Jay, Nas, Kendrick, J.cole handle the pen... If your mentioned in that list you know what that means!!! Yall other radio TV and bloggers watch this close... If he writes himself then he deserves an apology... If he doesn't write then he's a fucking FRAUD!!! That means them emotions ain't his.... That means what u claiming is story book...And if this industy is ok with that I understand stand... But where I fucking come from that's means you a great record maker but NOT a great lyricist!!!!! Theres a fucking difference if you claiming king!!! Dr Dre never wrote but we love him the same... But there's a place for that type of rapper!!! You don't get mentioned with the greatest!!!!
