Tyler, The Creator has been banned from entering Australia, this according to tweets sent out today by the Cherry Bomb rapper. The news comes as a disappointment to fans who were hoping to see Tyler later this year when he was going to head down under for a series of shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth during the beginning of September.

He gives a shout out to Coralie Alison, director of operations at Collective Shout, a feminist organization in Australia that started a petition to prevent Tyler from performing any more shows in the country. The petition garnered close to 30,000 signatures and apparently had some sway in getting the rapper banned from performing in the country. He has not given word on how long the ban will last or if he is just barred from performing and can still enter the country as a tourist, though it doesn't seem likely he would do something like that with this ban.

Tyler The Creator and the now-broken up Odd Future have a checkered history down in the Oceania. While on tour back in 2011, Tyler called the country "racist." Two years later in 2013, he was reported to the Australian police after allegedly verbally abusing a feminist group on stage. In 2014 the entire group was barred from entering New Zealand.

Earl Sweatshirt continued the groups' controversial trend by punching a fan that jumped on stage with him during a show last week in Australia. Now the country is lashing out at Tyler and banning him from performing, which effectively cancels his tour this fall.
