Following their addition to XXL's 2015 Freshman Class list, Fetty Wap and Shy Glizzy have teamed up on a new track titled "Why You Mad."
On the song, both upcoming rappers take turns addressing anyone who may feel some type of way about the success they have accrued as of late.
"Really tell me why you mad son? / Is it cause a n*gga ballin', cause a n*gga gettin' rich / You don't want to make me mad son / Cause if I pull out this Tommy, I'ma let off on the rip," Wap rhymes on the chorus.
In June, it was announced that the singing rapper from New Jersey was featured on XXL's annual list alongside Glizzy. Vince Staples, Tink, Dej Loaf, OG Maco, Raury, K Camp, GoldLink and Kidd Kidd were also featured.
As indicated by his profile, Fetty Wap is currently working on his as-yet-titled debut album due out this fall.
He is currently enjoying the success of his most recent single "My Way." The track recently vaulted up 80 spots from No. 87 to No. 7 on Billboard's Hot 100. "My Way" sits at the No. 2 spot on the Digital Songs chart with 152,000 copies of his new single sold.
Wap's breakout hit "Trap Queen" also holds at No. 6 for a third straight week.
Shy Glizzy is reportedly prepping the release of his Glizzy Got Wings EP due out this summer. He is currently gaining traction with his latest release "Funeral" featuring Jeezy. Glizzy has released singles including "Awwsome" and "White Girl," as well as mixtapes: Law 3 and Young Jefe.
