Up & Comin' 2014

Calling all musical talent! Do you have what it takes to win $10,000? If you are, Up & Comin' wants to hear from you! The contest is entering its second season and is searching for the next Country, Hip-Hop, Alternative, R&B, Rock or Pop complete artist, group or band for a chance to win a recording deal, a $10,000 cash prize and international exposure for their music. The show will highlight original music creators on their quest to fame. Season 2 of the competition returns for a worldwide search and a 25-episode run to ultimately discover the next "complete artist."

Submissions are now open through March 31, 2014 to musicians and bands across all genres who have what it takes to become the next superstar in the music industry.

Last year, over 3,000 artists entered the contest and garnered over 2,700,000 million YouTube views. This year, the contest creators are looking to make it even bigger. The winner will get:

  • $10,000 Grand Prize + Record Deal
  • Professionally Produced Music Videos for Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3
  • 30 Minute Live Final Event
  • Professional Social Media Marketing to help boost your fan base
  • Mentored by Industry Professionals to help further your career

"In comparison to other music competition series, we’re not looking for great performers only, we want artists with original music that deserve a worldwide launch platform and whose dream of becoming the next superstar can be realized through the rewarding of a record deal, cash prize and more," said Delano Massey, CEO of Jacob's Eye Music.

The show is produced by Massey, Bob Holmes ("Christmas in Rockefeller Center"), Willie “Bum Bum” Baker (Record Producer for PINK, India Arie, BoyzIIMen) and a team of entertainment industry experts that have worked with the biggest names in the business.
