Young Thug fans have been waiting patiently for one of his many announced full-length projects for some time, and they may have to wait just a little while longer. The "Stoner" rapper's upcoming LP Hy!£UN35 was originally slated for release on Aug. 28 via Lyor Cohen's 300 Ent., but that has been casually delayed another month to Sept. 24.

However, according to a new interview with Fuse TV at Lollapalooza that may not be the end of the delays.

When asked about when the album is going to drop, he replied with the new date and admitted there may be more delays because he has made more music he wants on there.

"It's launching on, I think, Sept. 24," he said. "But I don't know. I might take it back because I've got a couple new songs I may want to play for the label. All the songs are perfect, so..."

Delays are an everyday part of hip-hop as artists constantly have to push back the release of their albums for a variety of reasons due to label issues, music not being done and more. It sounds as though Thugger wants his album to be too perfect and can't accept releasing his album to the public without being absolutely confident in it.

Later in the interview, he talks about working with Be EL Be, director under his YSL Productions crew, and what it is like to have more creative control over his own projects including music videos.

"As a co-director, it feels so good when you're noticed. It feels good when somebody acknowledges you by that," he explained.
