P!nk gave paid tribute to the classic film The Wizard Of Oz and the late Judy Garland at the 86th Annual Academy Awards Sunday night (March 2) with a stunning and simple performance of the film's signature song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow."

After an introduction from former Oscars host and EGOT-ter Whoopie Goldberg who recalled happy holiday viewings of The Wizard Of Oz as a child and a special mentioning of Garland's three children, P!nk strolled on stage in a gorgeous sparkling ruby dress.

Beginning the song with its slightly lesser known intro verse, her signature raspy, smokey vocals gave a slightly different twist on the beloved movie classic.

P!nk's performance was one of six at the music-heavy 2014 Oscars. She joined Idina Menzel, Bette Midler, Karen O & Ezra Koenig, U2 and Pharrell Williams in the lineup.
