Both Meek Mill and Drake have stayed relatively quiet since dropping their respective diss tracks, but a few lesser-known rappers, all from Philadelphia, have since gotten involved. As the lyrics in the new Philly back-and-forth between AR-Ab's OBH crew and Meek's Dreamchasers have gotten increasingly violent, it now seems Mill has had enough. He removed his Drake diss trak "Wanna Know," from Soundcloud, and he shared a now deleted Instagram post that implies he wants stop beefing and get back to the money. Soundcloud is very popular among musicians, new upcoming artists sometimes buy Soundcloud plays to become famous and earn more from their popularity.

Meek called AR-Ab out at a The Pinkprint Tour stop for siding with Drake. AR-Ab quickly fired back with a Meek diss over Drake's "Back to Back," to which the Dreamchasers' Omelly responded with a "Back 2 Back" of his own. Within the past two days, OBH has come back with two more disses: first, from AR-Ab's second-in-command Dark Lo, who, finally, chose a different beat than "Back to Back."

"I wrote this sh*t in like five minutes / I'm petty with the beef, I put your mom in it," raps Dark Lo on "Warm Up."  Today, OBH's ShaMoney dropped another one: "Special Delivery"  The latest few disses -- those that come from neither Drake nor Meek, have shifted away from lyrical one-upsmanship to competing threats of terror and even murder. Of course, violent threats are nothing new in rap beefs but the latest disses have steadily declined in quality as their focus has moved away from rapping and into the streets. And that's where Meek wants it to stop.

Last night, Meek removed "Wanna Know" from the Dreamchasers' Soundcloud. Most of the Internet saw Meek's diss attempt as significantly weaker than the two Drake put out. Drake has even seen commericial success with his disses -- both entered the charts this week (of Aug. 22). "Charged Up" and "Back to Back" sit at No. 78 and No. 21, respectively, on the Hot 100.

Of course, Meek doesn't want to be remembered for his underwhelming effort, especially as the beef has overshadowed the success of his Dreams Worth More Than Money album and its singles, including the Drake-featuring "R.I.C.O.," which essentially started the whole beef in the first place and which still sits at No. 57 on the charts.

After removing the track from Soundcloud, Meek also wrote a lengthy post on his Instagram signaling that he's done with the beef. He begins the since-deleted post, saying, "We really only focusing on making it out that's the only war we fighting... I'm not entertaining no rap/real beef over drake s/o a rapper!"

It's unclear if he's shouting out Drake here or dissing him for not being a "rapper." In any case, he blames himself for being baited into the beef in the first place -- for falling for the "oldest trick in the book":

"I never shoulda entertained it bcuz it won't bring me no money or success.. Ima take blame for it even tho 'I can stand' anything I do or say and n*ggaz know"

He goes on to imply that he won't be issuing, or incriminating himself with, any violent lyrics that he likely won't respond to AR-Ab, Dark Lo or ShaMoney.

"I don't feel like I gotta try to prove myself to the people and end up in a real situation over this fake rap sh*t! I'm just on some next level sh*t wit it tryna touch some real paper... Leave all that murder one shit in the streets if you tryna get rich and make it out! All this killer sh*t on social media is like walking yaself into prison and that ain't my lifestyle and don't really make sense to me"

He finishes the post by saying, "All I can say is do ya thing but n*ggas better smarten up!"

He deleted the post soon after, but you can still see a screenshot below, thanks to DJ Akademiks. Does this mean Meek is going back on his word? Or, perhaps, he's simply done catching too much attention on social media. In any case, we probably won't be hearing any more diss tracks for a little while. Good riddance?
