The Vampire Diaries actress, Candice Accola, is expecting her first child with husband, The Fray guitarist Joe King. Accola shared an adorable family photo to her Instagram on Monday Aug. 31 to reveal the exciting news.
"Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo," wrote Accola in the caption of her Instagram photo. "Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly Thank you to our friend @softspiritstrong for coming over and snapping this sweet pic."
King proposed to Accola two years ago in May 2013 and the couple later wed in New Orleans in an intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by family and friends in October 2014. Some of Accola's co-stars supported her on her big day, including Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. While this is the first marriage and child for Accola, the band musician has previously been married and is the father of two young girls.

The 29-year-old Texas native, who also dabbles in music herself, posted a photo of her, King, and her stepdaughters wearing decorative white tees. Accola's white shirt had a heart drawn on it with the word "baby" written over her belly. Her shirt was surrounded by the emotions and feelings she's been suppressing since finding out the news, like "excited" and "grateful." Her happy hubby, who was nothing but smiles in the photo, wrote the word "Super Dad" across the chest area of his shirt.
"Baby King on the way!!!! So proud to welcome this new life into the world with my beautiful wife and daughters. I truly am a lucky man & dad," wrote King on the same photo he posted on his Instagram account.
Accola returns to the small screen for the season seven premiere of CW's The Vampire Diaries on Oct. 8. This will be the first season without the show's lead character actress Elena, played by Dobrev.
