Donald Trump's name has saturated news sources as of late with his campaign for GOP Presidential candidacy, his ill received comments on Mexican illegal imigrants and his official termination from NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. WIth Trump out, NBC is in search of a new host and sources say it could be former NBA player Magic Johnson.

A source revealed to US Weekly that the NBA legend is being considered to replace Trump, along with Virgin Group founder Richard Branson and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban for the new fall season of Celebrity Apprentice.

NBC Universal cut all ties with Trump upon his public derogatory statements toward immigrants. NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt released a statement in regards to the matter stating Trump's statements go against what they stand for which is respect and dignity for all people. As a result, NBC Universal canceled the airing of the Miss USA Pageant, also under Trump's brand, and continues to move forward with Celebrity Apprentice for the 2016-17 TV season with a new host.

US Weekly reports that not all of the potential replacements are interested in filling Trump's shoes. According to the site, Cuban is not interested. "He thinks [his ABC series] Shark Tank is a way better show and loves being a part of it."

According to CBS News, Trump believes that it was his presence on the show that generated such high ratings. Undeniably he added as stern, powerful presence to the board room and added a chilling reaction to contestants when hearing the words "you're fired."
