After Meek Mill told his DJ to quit playing Future's music during his Made in America set on Saturday (Sept. 5), the Internet went into a frenzy over the possibility of a diss towards the DS2 rapper. Mill quickly dodged the beef, taking to social media to clarify his comments.

Apparently, Mill's DJ was playing too much of Future's music during the Philly rapper's set and he made sure to let the DJ know that his musical selections weren't to his liking. He even went as far as making the disc jockey stop playing Fut's music.

“You’re playing all motherf*ckin’ Future tonight, n*gga,” Meek said, halting his DJ in the middle of "Freak Hoes." “If you don’t play some motherf*cking rap too? The hell is you doing, n*gga? Play some hot sh*t too. I think Future on Made in America.”

Once the Internet got a hold of a viral clip from Mill's set, it was widely speculated that he was openly dissing Future. Before things got too out of hand, the "All Eyes On You" rapper jumped on Instagram to clarify his statement. Mill offered an interesting explanation, saying his DJ caught a "Future attack" and got beside himself with his song choice. He then defended the DJ's mishap, chalking it up to frequent request for Future in the club. The two collaborated on “Jump Out the Face” from Mill's Dreams Worth More Than Money album. Last month, Meek Mill shared words on record with Drake after accusing the If You're Reading This It's Too Late rapper of using a ghostwriter on their collaboration "R.I.C.O." Drizzy responded with two diss tracks: "Charged Up" and "Back to Back." After several days, Mill hit back with "Wanna Know," which most of the Internet saw as significantly weaker than the two Drake put out.

The song was later removed from SoundCloud following a slew of diss track's between AR-Ab's OBH crew and Mill's Dreamchasers.
