Following the Super Bowl back in February, Prince made a guest appearance on Fox's New Girl and performed a song with Zooey Deschanel's character, Jess, during one of his legendary house parties.
The show only featured a short clip of the track, but now the full song, "FALLINLOVE2NITE" has surfaced (via Dr. Funkenberry). The song premiered on iHeartRadio via Epic Records. As Consequence of Sound notes, the label's head, L.A. Reid, was spotted at Prince's listening party for PLECTRUMELECTRUM. Could he be teaming up with a major label for this release after a half-decade working independently? We'll have to wait and see.
Deschanel tweeted about her excitement for the track saying, "For those of you asking - here's the song I was lucky enough to sing on with Prince!"
