Lana Del Rey premiered her new song "Salvatore" ahead of her new album Honeymoon on BBC1 on Tuesday (Sept. 15) afternoon and offered up an exclusive interview. Ahead of her fourth LP's release date, Del Rey has already released "Music to Watch Boys To," "Honeymoon" and "Terrence Loves You."

"Salvatore" has a very old-world, Italian feel to it with a good dose of cinema in the title, well-paced drums and heartbreaking string melodies. In her signature style, the vocals are very dark and moody, which only adds to the numerous qualities that evoke film-noir of the past. Del Rey even sings part of the chorus in Italian.

Del Rey told her host (via Rolling Stone), "It's interesting that you guys are playing that one tonight, it's probably the one that's the most different from all of the other tracks on the record. I guess it has a little bit of an old-world Italian feel, it's kind of a weirder song, but I love the chorus. It's filmic. I didn't write this song but I sang the track for Maleficent the Disney movie which was cool. Then there was a Tim Burton movie called Big Eyes that I did two songs for."

When prodded about her soundtrack interest, Del Rey said, "I'd love that. I love movies. Any time I get to be involved with them in any way it's exciting. To go down to the set to meet the writers. I live in California now, so it's really like the entire scene coming together. It's surreal."

Del Rey has been touring most of the summer, beginning with Courtney Love in May and then Grimes in June, but has not announced any travel plans for Honeymoon. The album will be released Oct. 18.
