After teasing the idea of a tour together on Twitter last month, monstrous music collaborators Eminem and Rihanna have confirmed three dates and venues for their short The Monster Tour this summer.
As previously reported, the duo (who also teamed up for 2011's "Love The Way You Lie") will be performing together in Los Angeles, New Jersey and Eminem's hometown of Detroit this August. Now, venues and exact dates have been revealed over at Consequence Of Sound.
As could be predicted, the two musical powerhouses will be taking on football stadiums for each of the tour's three shows, so as to pack in as many people as possible.

08/7: Los Angeles, CA @ Rose Bowl
08/16: East Rutherford, NJ @ MetLife Stadium
08/22: Detroit, MI @ Comerica Park
Tickets will go on general sale on Friday, March 28. According to Eminem's official website, there will be an American Express Card Members presale tomorrow (March 20), a Facebook Presale Friday, March 22, and a Live Nation Presale on March 27, so savvy Eminem/Rihanna fans should be able to nab tickets before everybody else.
The news of the Eminem, Rihanna tour follows yesterday's rumors that Eminem will be one of four major headliners at this year's Lollapalooza. The Chicago Tribune reported that the legendary rapper will join Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon and Skrillex as the festival's main performers.
If the Lolla rumors are true, the early August dates for the festival would fall in like with The Monster Tour's schedule.
