Trailing a wildly successful debut in theaters as well as numerous encore screenings, concert film Roger Waters The Wall has finally gotten a DVD and Blu-Ray release date for fans of the classic Pink Floyd LP and Roger Waters himself.

The Wall will be available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats starting Nov. 16, boasting a two-disc special edition Blu-Ray that offers footage directly from Waters' reunion with former Pink Floyd counterparts Nick Mason and David Gilmour during a London performance in 2011, Classic Rock Magazine reports. Fans can look to the arrival of a Roger Waters: The Wall soundtrack, details of which should be announced "in the coming weeks."

"I'm glad we have an opportunity to share the film with people on a wider scale," Waters said in a statement. "It has had a deep effect on my life - and I'm not the only one. This release provides an opportunity to remember all of our fallen loved ones."

Crafted mostly from footage of Waters' three-year solo stint that found the former Pink Floyd bassist performing The Wall as a whole, the concert film showcases a behind-the-scenes look at Waters' personal journey from show to show, including an emotional trip to the World War I veterans' cemetery where his grandfather rests and the beachhead where his father was killed in World War II. According to Waters, it's all an echo of his evolved relationship with the album since its release.

"I was determined that it should be less specifically about my predicament and my story and my journey," he told Ultimate Classic Rock, "and more a general look at what it means to those of us who become victims to what seems to be an insatiable desire by those with the reigns of power in their hands to wage war on others to further whatever their aims might be."

After dazzling audience with the one-night-only showing, Roger Waters The Wall called for encore theatrical screenings, which are planned for later this month.
