Although 50 Cent has proven to be a doting father to his youngest son, little Sire Jackson, his oldest son, Marquise Jackson, recently spoke on he and his father's estranged relationship in a brief interview on the red carpet. Over the years, it has been well documented that 50 Cent and Jackson have had a rift, and the rapper not showing up to the young man's high school graduation a year and a half ago certainly didn't help to bridge the gap. Over the weekend, an interviewer caught up with Jackson while on the red carpet for the 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards, and the young man opened up about the status of he and his mogul father's relationship.

In a candid video interview with Bossip during the excitement of the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards, Jackson talked life after graduation, the status of he and his father's tumultuous relationship, as well what type of effects his parents mutual frustrations with one another had on him growing up.

Jackson revealed that he and father are still on rocky terms, though he appeared to have a positive disposition about one day being able to hash things out with him.

A month prior, Jackson and his father got into a heated exchange via social media after posting a message to his Instagram that his father apparently felt was directed towards him.

VH1 reports that In the comments section of the post, 50 Cent angrily replied, “Word to Mommy Hun!!!

Amid the drama with his oldest offspring, the Street King Immortal rapper has fallen on a bit of hard times as he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy back in July after the two major lawsuits that both required multimillion dollar payouts.

Some spectators weighing in have even suggested 50 Cent’s current financial woes is karma as a result of his attitude towards his oldest son. However, of course that is just matter of opinion, as 50 Cent attributes the blame to poor legal counsel in the form of a $75 million lawsuit he recently filed against his former legal team.
