Could Harry Styles' first post-One Direction move be as a movie star? While acting rumors have been surrounding the "Perfect" singer for months, there is a reported role just waiting for the 21-year-old hunk in the upcoming Absolutely Fabulous movie.
In a new interview with The Sun (via Unreality TV), Ab Fab star Joanna Lumley revealed that Styles would be her ideal casting to play her character Patsy Stone's love interest in the film version of the hit '90s TV show.
"I think Pasty would very much like to paired up with Harry Styles, who wouldn't? He's gorgeous, isn't he?" she said.
The role would seemingly suit Styles, who has been tied to a number of older women throughout his time in the spotlight.
The Absolutely Fabulous movie role is just the latest acting rumor to surround Styles. Though he himself has never publically mentioned making the transition from record to screen, he's been pegged as a potentially huge Hollywood star. In March, it was reported that Styles was telling his friends that he may break in to the acting world because he "loves Los Angeles."
Styles isn't eyeing a career in the movies, he's also slated to be a solo star during One Direction's forthcoming hiatus. Rumors have also been circulating that Sony Records is eyeing a deal with Styles, though his solo album will have to wait until former 1D member Zayn Malik drops his debut album.
But first, Styles and the rest of One Direction will have to get through the release of the band's new album Made in the A.M., which is due to be released on Nov. 13.
