Earlier this month, Drake announced that he would release a video for his hit single "Hotline Bling" soon and it looks like he's made good on his word. On Sunday (Oct. 18), he revealed that the video will drop this week.

Similar to his previous announcement, Drizzy took to Instagram to share the news with fans. He shared a photo with the date "October 19" written in the same "1-800-Hotline-Bling" font as on the single's cover art.

Drake released "Hotline Bling" during his Beats 1 OVO Sound radio show at the end of July. The song has since become a fan favorite and one of the year's most covered tracks. "Hotline Bling" is on the verge of pushing Drizzy towards a career milestone: earning his first No. 1 single as the main artist. The track moved 3-2 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 (dated Oct. 24).

He recently posted on Instagram that topping the Hot 100 would be the "biggest moment" of his career.

"I spend my life trying to make waves for the city I am from [Toronto]. No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one," Drake posted on Instagram. "If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool.

"I love you and thank you for these memories. I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you ... even if it doesn't."

In the past, the Toronto rapper topped the Hot 100 with a feature on Rihanna's 2010 single "What's My Name." His debut single "Best I Ever Had" peaked at No. 2 on the chart. Back in September, Drake earned his 100th entry on the Hot 100 after eight tracks from his collaborative album with Future hit the chart.
