It has been too long Baauer. After months of no music, American trap producer, DJ Baauer has released his first single "GoGo!" ahead of a heavy dose of world tour dates to finish off the year. The new single comes as Baauer fans grow increasingly restless for his debut artist album, which has been in the works for a couple years now.
"GoGo!" was premiered by Zane Lowe earlier today as the hottest record in the world on Beats 1. It carries the same type of innovative blend of electronic and hip-hop elements that you expect from a Baauer production. He lays down a steady bed of 808s and snare rolls that eases to a bare din in the breaks before cascading into a repetitive onrush of thunder percussion and pitched vocal shouts, ushering the listener to move. Baauer first got famous for his single "Harlem Shake," but has slowly started to build a discography around that including "Higher" alongside Just Blaze and Jay Z, "One Touch" with Rae Sremmrud and AlunaGeorge and "Infinite Daps" with RL Grime that has afforded him the opportunity to tour the world.
