BBC 2 host Chris Evans might be feeling a bit foolish after confusing Adele with Beyonce's alter-ego, "Sasha Fierce," this past Friday (Oct. 23). On the BBC 2 program, Breakfast Show, interviewer Evans accidentally confused the two and Adele responded in a very comical way.

The Daily Mail reported that Evans asked, "Don't you have this kind of alter-ego that you pretend to become?"

Obviously confused, Adele replied, "No, not really, I mean I chat a lot."

But Evans continued to push the point, saying "No, I've got a name here," until Adele realized what he was asking and began to chuckle.

"Sasha Fierce is Beyonce's alter ego and then she's now the Mrs. Carter, I wish I was Sasha Fierce," the singer said, appearing to take the whole thing in stride.

In other Adele news, she has just released her first single in three years, "Hello" which appeared extremely early this past Friday (Oct. 23). She announced the release of her impending album with a lengthy Twitter post on Wednesday (Oct. 21) and the entire album 25  will be unleashed onto a waiting fan base in late November (Nov. 20).

The Verge reported that Adele released an apology letter on Twitter about her new album that said things such as, "My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record. I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. But I haven't got time to hold on to the crumbs of my past like I used to. What's done is done. Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-fledged adult."

25 will mark a milestone in her life and her singing career has been mostly dormant since her first child was born in 2012. "Hello" is also her first song since her work on the "Skyfall" soundtrack back in 2012 Billboard reports. The aforementioned song, also titled "Skyfall," did extremely well chart-wise, reaching No. 8 on the U.S. charts and No. 2 in the U.K. Based on past history, both her album and new single are also slated to be a major success for the singer.
