Chris Brown made his mainstream debut a decade ago and according to some, the 26-year-old crooner has already earned his spot at the table among legends. Nick Cannon recently likened Brown to Michael Jackson and Tupac with a photo shared on Instagram.

On Sunday (Oct. 25), the America's Got Talent host posted a photo titled “The Legendary Equation,” suggesting that Brown is the sum of the late King of Pop and the former Death Row rapper. Cannon shared the photo with a lengthy caption, writing that Brown is “a true legend amongst legends.”

He further praised the "Zero" singer and compared his experince in the spotlight to that of Jackson and Tupac.

“A lot of times we don’t realize or acknowledge our treasures while we still have them with us. We wait until they are gone to appreciate their power. Think about how much everyone attacked MJ and 2Pac while they were alive… I don’t think I have ever witnessed someone more gifted, who has overcome so much and still growing and learning daily.”

Earlier this year, 50 Cent made similar comparisons between Brown and Jackson during an interview with MTV. Back in 2010, Brown performed a heartfelt tribute to his childhood idol at the BET Awards.

Brown is currently prepping his seventh studio album, Royalty. Just last week, he shared the cover art for the album, which he named after his daughter. It has been reported that Royalty will drop on Black Friday (Nov. 27). The release date was revealed during an announcement on Hot 97's Nessa and Camilo show. The album will be Brown's second project for 2015, following a collaborative album Fan of a Fan back in February with Tyga, and his seventh solo studio effort. Last month, he shared a nine-minute video for two of the album's singles: "Zero" and "Liquor."
