Have you guys heard that Lana Del Rey is particularly fond of California and Hollywood? Though a New Yorker by birth, the "Summertime Sadness" singer has expressed her love of the Golden Coast through her short film Tropico and numerous lyrical references. Now, she's doing it again with the title of her first single from her upcoming 2014 album Ultraviolence.

Thursday (April 3), Del Rey casually announced the title of her new album's first single, and of course, it's another ode to Hollywood. Introducing: "West Coast."

Though a major announcement by most artist's standards, Del Rey made the revelation simply, in a corrective tweet to Prefix magazine. Stating that this week's leaked track "Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight" was not a new single.

"@prefixmag wrote that for someone else 4 years ago ...... New single is called West Coast," Del Rey nonchalantly announced.

Soon after, she seemingly confirmed the news with a photo-inclusive tweet that simply ready "West Coast."

"West Coast" has yet to receive an official release date or any more information. However, a few details are known about the song's album, Ultraviolence.

In a chat with fans, Del Rey revealed the album is de out sometime this May - something her camp later denied. So, that may or may not actually be true. One verified fact? The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach produced the album. So, it's bound to have a little bit of soul in it.

Ultraviolence will be the follow-up to her 2012 album Born To Die.
