Miami rapper Trick Daddy may be known for his catchy tune ¨Take It To The House¨ but after a recent run-in with the law, he's taking it to the jail.

XXL magazine reported that the rapper found himself in a tight situation when he was busted by the cops earlier this week.

The magazine´s site reports that the rapper is facing some serious felony gun charges, as well as possession of cocaine and driving with a suspended license, according to the Broward County Drug Task Force.

Trick could be facing some heavy time considering the fact that he is already a convicted felon. By law he can't possess guns.

XXL reports that Trick was arrested outside of his home in Miramar, Florida.

His arrest report indicates that he was caught by police who were surveying his home under the suspicion that the rapper was running a grow house.

Upon entrance to the home with a warrant and drug-sniffing dogs, authorities reportedly found one gram of cocaine in Trick Daddy´s bedroom, a 9mm pistol and ammo in another bedroom.

NBC Miami reports that the rapper admitted he had powder cocaine in the home and maybe marijuana roaches but no grow house.

An affidavit says that he also admitted to deputies that he is a convicted felon, with arrests for trafficking narcotics, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of cocaine.

At least he´s an honest criminal.

Trick Daddy was reportedly released from jail yesterday, April 4, on $6,100 bond.
