Things get a little too crazy in Japan in the new Queens Of The Stone Age music video for "Smooth Sailing." Today (April 8), the rock band released its latest official clip from the 2013 album ...Like Clockwork.

The new music video begins innocently enough, with QOTSA frontman Josh Homme playing the role of a "work hard, play hard" businessman on a trip in Japan. As businesspeople in Japan (and everywhere) are apt to do, after a long day at the office, he goes out and parties with some of his coworkers.

There's karaoke, stumbling through the malls and streets of the city, tons of drinking and, oh yeah, a little more drinking and partying.

After what seems like hours of having a hard go at it, things take a violent turn. Eventually, Homme and his Japanese business cohorts find themselves in the middle of a fight, and eventual death all while the background music promises of "Smooth Sailing" in an incredibly ominous tone.
