Laura Jane Grace recently revealed in a new interview that Against Me! were currently working on a brand new studio album. Not only that, but the band appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers to perform their latest album's hit song "True Trans Soul Rebel."

The track appears on the band's highly-praised 2014 album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues, which was released shortly after the transgender frontman-turned-frontwoman's debut as a woman amongst the LGBT community.

The upbeat punk/alternative rock track is a blistering trans anthem that seems to musically reflect Grace's peace of mind with finally becoming what she feels she was intended  to be. Although the band has been touring sporadically for the past two years, there has been no talk of new music while the band took a break to "address personal issues."

With the band's current album having tons of Grace's personal themes running throughout, the singer/songwriter recently told Rolling Stone that the new album would be different and more of a team effort when it came to its content. "The last record was an isolating experience and a solo endeavor in a lot of ways - not to diminish anyone else's roles, but it was a really personal record," she said during the interview. "I want this one to feel like we're all in it equally. We've been having a really good time playing with each other. We'll see what that means sonically, but that's the vibe."

"We're at a good place," she added. "We're going to spend the rest of the year working on the record, and we're hoping next year will be a busy one."

Transgender Dysphoria Blues is out now via the band's own label, Total Treble, along with their newly-released live album 23 Live Sex Acts.
