Mumford & Sons may have just wrapped up a massive North American tour earlier this year, but the "Ditmas" band is prepping to do it again in 2016. On Monday (Nov. 9), Mumford & Sons announced the 15-date An Arrow Through the Heartland Tour.

Keeping it close to the tour's name, the An Arrow Through the Heartland Tour keeps away from the coasts and keeps its dates close in the middle of the United States. The live trek will kick off on April 3, 2016, in Houston. The band will then play a series of shows in the south before heading for the Midwest. The tour will wrap up on April 23 in Indianapolis. (There's also a bonus show in June in Saratoga, New York.)

For Mumford & Sons, once again touring the United States is a dream come true, even though its something the band should be well familiar with by now.

"Touring the United States of America in many ways fulfills the childhood dream of what touring might be like. Rolling from one great city to the next, each with its own personality and uniqueness whilst remaining familiar enough at the same time. Waking up every morning with a conversation amongst us about who wants to visit 'that' bookshop or 'the' ultimate music shop or whatever the various cities had to offer," Ben Lovett said in a statement.
