In October, Lil Durk and Dej Loaf took everyone by surprise when they went public with their relationship. Despite reports that the new couple was simply a publicity stunt, the two have solidified their union on wax, teaming up for "My Beyoncé" from Durk’s forthcoming 300 Days, 300 Nights mixtape.

The slow jam features Durk singing sweetly about the special lady in his life with the help of some Auto-Tune. "Ooh I like the way she moves / Shawty my baby, my everything, she the truth,” he harmonizes on the chorus.

Elsewhere on the track, Loaf finds herself reciprocating the feeling while crooning, “I was plotting for a while/ Now I got him where I want him / They didn’t understand, none of this was planned.”

Last month, Loaf’s former girlfriend, Angeleah Speights, aka Aye Redd, took to social media making claims that Durk and Loaf's public affections and supposedly blossoming romance were purely to garner press. Speights’ subtle Instagram jabs about "people" not being true to themselves warranted a Twitter response from Loaf shortly thereafter.

Although Speights’ posts have been deleted, she reiterated her beliefs during an interview with Bossip.

"They're not together they're not a couple. They don't f*ck around at all. I think they're trying to make it seem like they're together. I don't know what it is but it's fake."

Regardless of the validity of their relationship status, listeners seem to be impressed by the collaboration between the two.

According to Complex, “My Beyoncé” is slated to be featured on Durk's upcoming mixtape 300 Days, 300 Nights, which drops on Dec. 15. The project marks his second release of the year, following his debut album Remember My Name, which featured guest spots from fellow Def Jam artists Logic and Jeremih.
