Vaughaligan Walwyn
Born in the U.S. Virgin Islands in St. Croix and raised in Houston in the southeast side, Vaughaligan Walwyn made his mark on the world in athletics. While a student at Houston's Rice University, Vaughaligan became an All-American long jumper, breaking the US Virgin Islands long jump record with a leap of 26 feet 1 inch. Bound for the Olympics, life was exactly as he wanted it until the unthinkable happened ... a knee injury ended his career before it began. The young man who had always been active in music in his church took refuge in rap. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in History, he started pursuing a career in music full time.

He fell fully into the lifestyle of rap and when he found out his father was dying of AIDS, he turned to drugs and alcohol, provided by his inner circle, to ease the pain. The party almost ended, as did his life, during an altercation with the Houston Police Department. He was beaten and tased, being seriously injured.

Facing death was a wake-call for the young rapper and he decided that it was time to turn his life around. Today, he is a proud husband, father, inspirational recording artist, speaker and the Pastor of Houston's CT Legacy Church.

His Grace Still Abides project is a three part media series. Part one will be the release of his solo debut, Grace Still Abides, a heartfelt and moving album featuring Lil Keke, Big Pokey, Baby Bash, Propain, Paul Wall, Lil Flip, Scarface, Brian Angel, Mike Jones, Bun B and Z-Ro. The project is being released through Vaughaligan's own music company, Nu Season, and has a release date of April 15th. Part two is a book by the same title which is a semi-biographical story. Part three is a shocking film with a compelling story about salvation and forgiveness.

Through Grace Still Abides, Vaughaligan is hoping to reach out to humanity, inspiring people and bringing peace to anyone who is willing to listen.
