Khloe Kardashian is set to appear on an upcoming episode of daytime talk show Ellen where she will address a lot of speculation regarding her estranged husband, Lamar Odom's health recovery, and where they stand in the process of getting a divorce. She also opens up about dating her current boyfriend, NBA star James Harden.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the youngest of the Kardashian sisters will sit down to talk with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Monday's show, Nov. 16, and clear the air on a lot of floating rumors regarding her marriage to former NBA player, Odom. According to the site, Kardashian had many reasons to hold off on divorcing Odom, and she will reveal those reasons during the full interview. In the sneak-peek clip, the reality star explained that Odom's health was a major factor in keeping the marriage in tact - at least for now.
"He went into a coma, he was in a coma for three days, he's out of it," Kardashian explained to DeGeneres and the audience. It was reported in October how the 36-year-old was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. According to The Wrap, Odom spent a weekend at the Dennis Hof Love Ranch where he spent $75,000 in obtaining "the five-day around the clock girlfried experience package." On that Tuesday, reports stated that the former Los Angeles Lakers player collapsed and was taken by ambulance to a Pahrump, Nevada hospital, and later transported to a Las Vegas hospital. The former NBA player remained unresponsive and in a coma for several days.
Kardashian stated how the out-pour of prayers and support have really helped a lot for Odom and their family. Although he is slowly improving, she explained how he still has "a long, long way to go. He's learning how to walk again and feed himself again and put sentences togher."
She explained how Odom still has no clue as to what happened to him, and she doesn't tell him. Most of the time he's really confused, but, "he's able to smile and laugh at appropriate times."
"I feel like it's a really insensitive thing to fast forward a divorce," the 31-year-old explained. "He's a fantastic person who deserves love and support and someone to be by his side...I'm that to him"
The sneak-peek clip concluded with a brief conversation about James Harden, Kardashian's NBA boyfriend who, as she stated, has been supportive. She also refers to herself as being part of polygamy due to having a boyfriend and a husband. DeGeneneres explains to her that she's not there just yet.
"I think that's many husbands, so you're not there yet. You have to marry your boyfriend in order to be a polygamist."
