On Friday (Nov. 13), reports of terrorist attacks on Paris, France shocked the world. Since news of the explosions and shootings first broke, it has been reported that the death toll stands at 127 with 200 more were injured, 99 critically. The attacks prompted President Francois Hollande to declare a state of emergency and close French borders. Word of the tragic events swamped social media and warranted various responses, including a Tumblr post from Frank Ocean. While sharing his thoughts, the singer also slammed Donald Trump for his tweets.

Ocean took to Tumblr to share his response to the attacks. He wrote, “Love to Paris and any individual or family who’s lost loved ones to evil anywhere in this world. Chill w the angels.”

He even threw in a few choice words for Republican presidential candidate Trump, who previously tweeted what some would consider insensitive blurbs about gun control and Paris’ Charlie Hebdo tragedy back in January.

“On the real though Donald Trump. How is it ‘interesting’ that these shootings happened in a country that’s tough on guns?” the “Pyramids” singer wrote. “Because it sounds like that vacuous observation was about giving your NRA-loving constituency a hand job and spinning a tragedy for political gain and I’m thinking maybe using a situation where dozens of innocents have just been murdered in the streets isn’t the best time. No?”

Trump sent his condolences to victims of the most recent attacks and then went on to criticize President Obama's comments on ISIL.

Hollande said Friday's attacks were "committed by a terrorist army, the Islamic State group, a jihadist army, against France, against the values that we defend everywhere in the world, against what we are: A free country that means something to the whole planet.”

ISIL, also known as ISIS, released statements in Arabic, French and English claiming responsibility for the attacks in Paris. A "number of" arrests have reportedly been made in Brussels related to the attacks.
