Earlier this month, Sigur Rós' gave a sneak peek of their cover of "The Rains of Castamere," which will be featured on show's soundtrack. The full version, written by the composer of the series, Ramin Sjawadi, with lyrics by George R.R. Martin, is now available for sale on Amazon.

Last season, The National recorded a version of the song, which played on the epic Red Wedding episode. Both versions are equally ominous with Sigur Rós' having a grander, cinematic vibe and The National's feeling more barebones and folksy.

To coincide with the song's release, the Icelandic group appeared on last night's episode, "The Lion and the Rose."

Check out both versions below, and let us know which one you like better in the comments section.
