Prior the release of the British songbird's third studio album, 25, Adele talked about turning down a Beyoncé collaboration and more in her newest interview on Beats 1 Radio show with Zane Lowe. For weeks, there have been rumors that the UK's hottest soul singer declined the chance to work with Beyoncé after her people were approached with the idea. In a new interview, Adele talks a new project dropping November 20th and what she really thinks of American hip-hop royalty, Beyoncé.

Adele is currently on the trail promoting her third studio album, following the success of her first single, "Hello" whose video racked up over 23.2 million in views in the first 24 hours. The British powerhouse stopped by the Beats 1 show along host Lowe and spoke on a variety of topics related to the new project. One area of particular interest was if she had actually turned down the opportunity to do a huge collaboration with Beyoncé.

According to Bossip, "'Bey has been asking Adele for a year to join forces,' an alleged source told Heat magazine. 'She went into the studio with Adele at the end of last year and tried to convince her to collaborate on a track. Adele turned down the offer, so now Beyoncé is putting the song on her new album instead, which everyone is saying will drop before the end of the year.'"

However, when given the opportunity by host Lowe to address the topic, she automatically refuted the rumor and suggests that she is definitely a fan, saying, "There's a rumor going round that I turned Beyoncé down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I'd never disrespect her like that. Obviously, like, Queen B 'til the day I die."

Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, not much has changed by way of Adele's affections for Beyoncé. Back in 2011, Adele recalled her first time meeting the superstar saying, "I was about to meet Beyoncé and I had a full-blown anxiety attack. Then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, 'You're amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I'm listening to God.'"
