Chet Faker and Marcus Marr have unveiled the latest single to emerge from their upcoming four-track Work EP titled "Birthday Card." The tune is a bit longer than their first single "The Trouble With Us," clocking in at 7 minutes and 46 seconds of pure atmospheric vocal house bliss.

The track sounds like a lengthier house track from Marr's discography with a strong and groovy bass line, but Faker's touch is found all over it. Not only are his vocals heard throughout "Birthday Card," but also subtle synth notes wax and wane as the track slowly builds into a surprising and lovely electric guitar lick from Marr right in the middle.

The collaboration between these two artists started as many do these days on Twitter. They became friends and started to share parts with each other that started to form the tracks that they would eventually finish during a couple days in Marr's London studio.

Marr speaks enthusiastically about working alongside Faker. "It was a real thrill as the songs came together. As far as working out lyrics and music the guy is super-talented. He writes all his lyrics in his black book and he loves his pen. Actually, Nick, I was rummaging through a drawer in my studio the other day and I found your special pen - do you want it back, mate?"

The Work EP will be released on Dec. 4 via Detail Records. Before it drops in a week, listen to "Birthday Card" below and pick up a copy of the song and the EP on iTunes.
