The sixth season of Mona Scott Young's brainchild promises to be as drama-filled as the seasons prior in the extended trailer for the newest season of Love & Hip Hop New York. Although there are many new faces as well as some familiar ones, it looks like this season may be one of the most exciting to date for the New York franchise on the heels of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood wrapping their second season. The new cast will feature hip-hop couple Remy Ma and Papoose, famed NY radio personality DJ Self and girlfriend Yorma Hernandez, plus many more.
In the newest season of LHHNY, a few familiar faces remain such as newlyweds Yandy and Mendeecees Harris, who are dealing with Harris' impending sentencing for drug trafficking charges along, with the never ending love triangle between Peter Gunz, Amina and Tara. Not to mention additional cast members such as Rah Ali, Rich Dollaz and Cisqo. However, former reality star Erica Mena opted out of renewing her contract with the franchise and cut ties with the show last season. Not to worry, this season's cast prove to be quite the livewires as new cast members such as group BBOD (which consists of Miss Moe Money and Sexxy Lexxy), Bianca Bonnie formerly known as Lil B of hit song "Chicken Noodle Soup," newcomers Mariahlynn and Instagram sensation Cardi B.
In the new extended trailer, Young definitely brings on the drama and sets the tone of what viewers can expect this time around from the franchise that started it all. Plenty of excitement, that's what! By the looks of the footage, viewers can expect a pretty explosive season.
