Earlier this week, Dave Harrington, formerly one half of the electronic duo Darkside, launched his 12 Days of Remixes holiday series. In the spirit of the season the multi-instrumentalist and producer is sharing previously unreleased remixes and edits he's made and dropped in many of his DJ sets over the past few years. He kicked things off on December 1 with an edit of Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" and followed-up today with a reworking of Beyonce's "Blow." He'll be posting new tracks every day leading up to the 2nd Annual DH & Friends Holiday Spectacular on December 13th via his Soundcloud. Listen to his "Copyright Breaking Edit" of Beyonce's "Blow" below.

So far, Harrington has dropped remixes of Paul Simon's "Can't Run," Tyondai Braxton's "Almlochley,"  Other People X Sunhouse Drum Corps' "OP #100" and Terje Rypdal's "Silver Bird is Heading for the Sun" in addition to the Michael Jackson and Beyonce edits. Fans can expect reworkings of  Nils FrahmEmpress Of, Steve Reich and more in the coming days.

As Consequence of Sound points out, Harrington notes that "Human Nature" is his favorite tune from the King of Pop. The edit stretches-out the original cut's disco undertones and the result is absolutely dreamy. The edit was taken down once so far, but the artist has already reposted another version. Find that, as well as the other remixes and edits, below.

Upon conclusion of the 12 Days of Remixes series, the artist is hosting the 2nd Annual DH & Friends Holiday Spectacular, a benefit for the Harlem School of the Arts, to be held at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC on December 13th. As Pitchfork reports, the benefit concert will feature Harrington leading a house band playing holiday favorites with members of the Antlers, Yeasayer, Real Estate, Dirty Projectors, War on Drugs and more taking turns on the mic. Richard Hell will deliver opening remarks. There will also be a b2b DJ set from Small Black's Josh Kolenik and Bear in Heaven's Adam Willis.
