Kid Cudi has released his experimental concept album Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven. There are no listed features on the album, but frequent collaborator Project Pat's handiwork is found everywhere and Cudder invited Beavis & Butt-Head creator Mike Judge to record skits throughout the LP. It is now available to stream and download.

Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven is unlike we have heard from Cudi, taking the rock influences from his other LP and completely running with them and mashing them into an angry almost punk-rock record. There are still the psychedelic sounds he is known for, but he heads in a much more experiemntal direction that can be hard to swallow at times.

Lyrically he is at his most vulnerable, tackling issues of depression and self-worth, warning women to not date him on tracks like "Handle With Care" and expressing his anguish and sorry at not feeling whole throughout the full record.

The Beavis & Butt-Head contributions are a bit mindless and can tie down the listener into unnecessary skits.

Cudder was gearing up for a big North American tour this month, but he mysteriously canceled it, citing production and personal issues that prevented him from going on the road.

Stream the album on Spotify, which includes two full discs and then download a copy on iTunes. Disc one has the full 18-track album and the disco two has some rehearsal demos and extra bits that did not make the original LP.
